I have 7 Holstein bull bottle calves. There are 6 that are 3- and 4-weeks old weighing 150-175 pounds already. One of them is a 6 day old baby. They have a Friesian influence making them fleshier calves than your average Holstein. All of these calves have had three feedings of colostrum, have been kept on cow’s milk all their life, and are currently eating a 22% calf starter protein mix. They currently are drinking a gallon of cow’s milk a day. They are broke to drink out of buckets or hands free feeders for easy feeding times.
