I have three Red Angus heifer calves and one Black Angus heifer calf that just came off cull cows Friday morning. Cows averaged 1285 and calves were with the cows until pulled. They did receive colostrum from the cow as well as the transition. They were started on the bottle Friday night with a mix of half cow milk half Land O Lakes Amplifier max milk replacer. They have been vaccinated with inforce 3, enrolfux, and bose. Two of the Red Angus heifers are over 100 pounds and are three weeks old. One of the Red Angus heifers is two weeks old and weighs 5 pounds and the black angus heifer calf is two weeks old and weighs 90 pounds. These heifers are stout and THICK! Perfect starter herd!
