1972 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Cherry Red Electric Guitar. With Original Case.

Provenance (History) of this guitar.

1972-It was purchased brand new by a retired gentleman who basically sat at home and strummed it.

1976-My father purchaased it. He practised on it and played on occassion with a workplace band, but otherwise it was safe in its case in his music room.

2017-My father passed away after a long cancer fight.

2023-My mother-sks me to sell it on her behalf.

I was a 12 year old boy when my father saved his money to buy this guitar. I am now 59 years old, and it is time to find this classic guitar a new home with someone who will appreciate it.

There are some slight scratches on this Gretsch guitar, but for a 50+ year-old instrument its in incredible shape.
