Star is a 16 year old grade quarter horse mare. She stands 15 hands. She has the sweetest in your pocket puppy dog personality. Although she doesn't look like it much now due to being in a dry lot and fighting 5 other horses for feed she is a very easy keeper. She is extremely well broke and can be ridden bareback in a halter. She is my go to for anyone who doesn't ride much or for light trail rides. Her downfall is that the tendons in her hind end are weak and overstretched so she is only sound at a walk. With continual light work and legging up she may get stronger and be able to do more. She does not get the attention she deserves and I would love to see her go to a home where she will be loved on more regularly.    With the drought and hay shortages I would like to give her a chance at a home before being forced to make some tougher decisions.
