I have a 1987 Mercury Classic 50.  This motor was started and shifted into forward and reverse when I purchased the pontoon it was on.  I re-powered the 24ft pontoon with a bigger motor so the kids could tube.  I have not had the motor on the water but the previous owner said that they were using the boat regurlarly.  The engine is currently just sitting in the garage on an engine stand.  I do have the title for it.  Sold as is since I really know anything about it.  $800
