JEM Farms has an 8 day old Gelbvieh heifer.  She was born was March 15th 2023. She was on the cow for four days to get colostrum and well established cow milk before we shipped the cow out. She has been on a bottle ever since of Land of Lakes amplifier max whole protein formula. She is an absolute TANK!!! She has the body of a bull calf and a beast like stature! You normally do not see heifers built like this but this breed is known for producing some outstanding growing calves! When taken off the cow (she weighed in at 1550 pounds at weigh in) she was vaccinated with Inforce 3, enroflux, and Bose. She is my most aggressive on the bottle at this time and after she eats we spectate her from the others to prevent her sucking on other calves while we feed.
