1950s era ATLAS model 6001 six inch jointer for sale. This jointer has been completely restored to original condition. By that I mean completely stripped down. Every bolt and screw, the cutter head, the tables and base, the motor, everything.  All the bearings (motor and cutter head) were replaced.  It was all de-rusted, painted, lubed and reassembled. I rewired it and bought a switch for it. It has a three knife cutter head with sharp knives which cuts great. It’s Set up for 120v with a 3/4 HP Marathon motor. These jointers originally came with a 1/2 HP motor. I’ll include a copy of the manual - not original.  Sale includes everything in the pictures.

Note:  There is no dust chute or DC connection under the table.  Since your shop set-up drives that decision there was no point in me deciding which option to install.  Either will be easy to attach to the 1.75 inch oak slab table top.  The bottom shelf is spalted ash.

It has a small footprint and would make a great home shop jointer, but would also function in a professional shop.  You can go buy a new Rigid for $800 at the box store.  Ask yourself if it will last 70+ years like this one has, then come take this one for a test drive. It’s plug and play. You’re welcome to try it out in my shop before buying.
