My family has had this Impala since 2017. We've put the last 40,000 miles on it and it's been a champ. 3.9l v6 173,000 miles. My brother who owns it now is moving across the county and bought a newer vehicle. He just had a ton of work done to it including: brand new Mastercraft tires, drivers wheel bearing, drivers lower control arm and ball bearing, both sway bar links, fresh transmission filter and fluid, fresh oil change, new air filter, new oil filter adapter housing gasket, and other various small repairs or maintenance. This car is ready to go for a commuter or high school or college car. The only issues I know are it needs a rear muffler cause it has a leak and the power steering is sucking air from old hoses. The power steering just needs bled occasionally (really easy process, no tools required) and the muffler makes some more noise than usual but effects nothing.
