I have an antique Cedar Chest for Sale. The dimensions are 53 inches long x 25 inches tall x 23 inches wide. The Cedar costs more than the $75 I am asking for the Chest. The top is not attached and has a pianno hinge attached to the underside of the lid but not to the Chest. I would recommend that some other form of hinge be used possibly with some assist shocks that will help the lid raise and lower easily. Also, the lid has one crack all the way through on the grain that can easily be glued back together and clamped. I do not have the tools to clamp it otherwise I would be glad to do so.
If you have any questions let me know. The colors of the chest are very beautiful after almost 50 years since it was made. There is a Red Felt liner in the bottom of the chest.
The Scent of Cedar is as prevalent today as it was when it was made.
