An absolutely marvelous small 18 horsepower diesel tractor.  That's horsepower and not pony power.  Less than 1000 hours. Runs strong. Compression is good.  Cold starts using manually connected glow plugs.  Super fuel efficient.  This rig has plenty of power for a 5 foot bush hog chewing through weeds higher than the tractor.  Geared by a 3 speed transmission with a high and low range which makes for 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse. With front wheel assist, this little machine has never been stuck.  It has a step-on rear differential lock which means positraction at the rear.  3 point is super tough and the up and down speed can be varied.  The PTO is the 540 rpm type of spline, but can be turned at 1000 rpm, as well as a 3rd position which matches engine rpm.  I have turned a 15 kw generator that was loaded all the way up.  The engine is well governed for such an application, making for cheap generated electricity.  Radiator is new.  Tractor manufactured in the early 80s although not specifically known what the exact year is.  This tractor is a rare piece of equipment made in Japan, and has Japanese quality throughout.  The seat is new.  This unit is ideal for keeping a large piece of residential real estate well maintained. You won't find a better used piece of equipment for a better price which is a fraction of what a new comparable sized tractor would cost.  I am selling out to retire; a motivated seller.  The right front tire wobbles slightly, but has no effect on stearing and traction.  The battery is a fairly new type 31 large truck battery.  Tractor comes with a small back rack suitable for carrying a spray rig.  You can't go wrong.  Give me a call at seven85 six57 triple zero7; anytime.  In Studley, Kansas.  Come and take a look and listen.
