We have had this 2008 Mercury Sable Premier in our family since 2010. It is a dependable and comfortable car which would still make a great school car. The car has had regular servicing and is very clean. The struts are worn and I’m not sure about the brake pad life. My daughter has used it for the past several years. The tires have about fifty percent tread life remaining, and the car has a clean title. With 230,000 miles the car is priced at twelve hundred dollars, which  is in the wholesale market range.
