Description

This is my entire sick sounding system ready to go you just have to hook it up in your ride! This is a 1200w-2400w MAX 2ohm 15" HDS3.2 Subwoofer made by Soundqubed already mounted in a custom built ported box built to soundqubed's EXACT recommended specs for this sub. It comes with a 3500W Orion Cobalt monoblock amplifier that according to it's manufacturers specs can supply the recommended 1200W RMS that this subwoofer calls for. In my personal opinion it doesn't come close to giving this sub a good run for it's money with regards to the top RMS that it can handle. Of course w/ Soundqubed they way underrate rather than over rate like the majority of manufacturers do now days. BUT this set up will still put anyone's system in your neighborhood to complete shame & that's no exaggeration. This sub str8 hurts when it's given a bit of a push in wattage. I've only tried 2 different amps on it & neither came close to making this subwoofer even break a sweat! I used the 3500 power acoustics amp for a bit but figured it was barely making 1050W RMS & that was it's topend of RMS which in my opinion this sub could take 1250-1300RMS constantly without even breaking a sweat. I've had it for nearly 3yrs & I still don't think it's completely broke in yet it's such a stiff, tough, & impressively built subwoofer. Then I switched up to the 3500 Orion Cobalt monoblock amplifier that makes probably close to 1100-1150RMS on it's good days so not much more than the PA but enough that I could tell a difference so I kept it as my primary amp in this set up. This subwoofer was $300+ back when I 1st got it but has dropped $20-$30 in price but is still the top of it's category for this class of subwoofer. I suggest you copy & paste this web link into your browser if your unfamiliar with this brand & study up cuz they are beyond impressive I believe they put JL audio to shame regarding their price to performance ratio. You'd pay $800-$1000 for a sub this impressive from JL without question!  https://soundqubed.com/product/hds3-2-series-1200w-subwoofer/
