Small square bales will be put up today (Friday)!!!  This acreage was burned off the last 2 years with a late May burn this year to eliminate forbs and any of the previous years growth.  Big three grasses (Big Bluestem, Indian grass and Switchgrass) with some Little Blue and sideoats grama all in the leafy stage.  Cut before bolting to maximize leafyness!!!  Cut with a disc mower, so non-crimped just as your horses and cattle would eat out of the field.

We will only put up 150 as that's all we can store.  If you would like some please call or text 785-623-8513 to make arrangement for pickup as we can do more but they will have to be picked up before the chance of rain Sunday.  Price negotiable if looking for large quantity and will pick up out of the field.  Located around the Schoenchen, KS area.

Would also work great for animal bedding as there are no stalks.
