PRICE REDUCED ! This is a artist intaglio printing press. A robust build. 1/2 inch steel with Solid Oak wood side bed rails. 24" x 48" x 5/8" press bed. Top roller is 7" diam. and drive roller is 5.5" diam. Both rollers are made from 1/2 inch thick wall deep hole oil well pipe. Side plates are made of 1/2" tempered plate steel. Chain and sprocket drive with safety break chain link. Bed plate is a custom cut 5/8 inch phenolic laminate plate made for extreme printing pressure. Copper spacer pipes, and copper painted pressure plates. I installed two additional 5/8 inch spacer rods to the base of the side plates for additional stability and adjustment. The 28 inch hand crank wheel is from an antique pull-behind road grading machine. It is a robust machine with heavy duty industrial pressure bearings and stainless steel fine thread adjustment components. Heavy duty wood bench with industrial strength rollers is included.
