SUMMARY:
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful daily operation of the office including supervisory and human resource duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Implements organization policies and goals.
Coordinates activities of office including but not limited to customer service and administrative support for the Coop.
Reports personnel changes and human resource needs and issues for record keeping purposes and support (i.e., vacation and sick leave)
Responsible for personnel files, medical record keeping, social security, retirement, and workers compensation regulations, complying with state and federal agencies.
Compiles data from employee time cards and enters into computer for processing of payroll on a biweekly basis.
Responsible for grain customer accounts, offers, contracts, and settlements.
Maintains an adequate bookkeeping and accounting system including membership patronage and equity distribution.
Responsible for providing financial information to lenders.
Responsible for providing accurate monthly financial statements to the Board of Directors.
Manage and create content for both the company website and all social media outlets.
Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responds promptly to customer needs, resolves questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meets commitments.
Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.
Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative.
Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Complies with all state and federal laws, codes, and regulations.
Presents a clean and professional appearance.
Responsible for prompt and regular attendance.
Employee is required to perform all other duties as assigned.
