Description

Springfield Armory M1 Garand.

Judging by the serial number according to online resources the receiver was manufactured in October/November 1941.

- This rifle is in excellent shooting condition. Free of pitting, gouges, or rough edges in both metal and wood. See attached pictures.

- The oprod pulls smoothly all the way. The bolt catch functions strong with audible an click when performing function checks.

- The trigger pulls smoothly to the wall and breaks with crisp response.

- The bore is bright, and rifling is crisp. Sights properly aligned, gas cylinder plug locks tight, but is not "fused" to the gas block. Threading is crisp and clean.

- Sight adjustment knobs are in excellent condition as if new.

- Bluing shows normal wear on moving parts.

- Metal parts for the stock seems to be new or new old stock. The buttplate hinge closes tight and can easily be opened without the use of tools. The compartment within the stock is clean and crisp.

- Buyer pays any shipping costs from FFL dealer to FFL dealer of buyer’s choice. Local pickup is available.
