THIS GUITAR SOUNDS GREAT!! 

THIS IS A VINTAGE YAMAHA FG-180 ACOUSTIC FOLK GUITAR.  IT WAS MADE IN JAPAN (MIJ) IN THE LATE 1960'S OR EARLY 1970'S.   RED LABEL FROM THE NIPPON GAKKI FACTORY.  PRICED RIGHT, PLAYER'S DREAM.  I HAVE SEEN PRESTINE EXAMPLES SELL FOR OVER $1000 AND WALL HANGERS SELL IN THE HUNDREDS.   This one is rough and has spent most of its life outside a case.  It has scratches, bumps and dings all over.  The tuners have been changed.  The bridge saddle is as low as it can go.  It is missing 8 inches of binding on the back.  The guitar is solid structurally.  New John Pearse phospher bronze strings (12-53) installed.  Comes with the cheesy bag you see in the pictures.  

I found a website that says this was made in May of 1970.
