OTR Driver - Specialty Vehicle Hauler

We are a small trucking company that specializes in transporting mobility vans, small buses along with other specialty vehicles. We have all New Equipment that is reliable. Must have CDL for 2 years with experience in vehicle hauling. We work to get you home every other weekend, sometime every weekend depending on work load.

Responsibility:

Must be able to pass Drug/Alcohol Test.

Maintain driver logs ( E-Logs) according to Federal and State regulations.

Inspect truck and trailer for defects before and after each trip.

Keep the truck clean & maintained for operating purposes.

Conduct safety inspections on equipment daily.

Contact your customers upon pick up & deliveries.

Follow all local, state and federal regulations.

Report any issues with equipment so issues can be addressed as soon as possible.

Scan paperwork when each load is delivered.

Must be able to use a Tablet, Apps, Email, and have a cell phone with national plan.

Be able to conduct vehicle inspections on the Tablet

On occasion real paperwork may be required for loading and delivery

Required Work Experience

Class A CDL License

Clean MVR

Medical Card (up to date)

Verifiable work history over the past 36 months

Experience in using the US system of linear measure

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Good Customer Relations Skills

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Home for all National Holidays.
