Description
Vintage honey comb foundation fastener. Used to fasten together a 4 1/4" frame and foundation where honey bees build their honeycomb. The handle gently presses the corner joints together while holding it square.
I posted this item as a mystery tool for 2 years until a man contacted me with information about its use.
Rare and hard to find information. I was given the patent number and photo of one identical to mine.
