I have a 9 year old purebred Jersey milk cow (Cowgirl) for sale. She is very gentle, halter broke to tie & can be milked by hand or machine. I milk in stantions. I had her listed earlier but pulled the ad because she got a light case of milk fever. I forgot to give her 2 tubes of calcium the first day. She calved 9-2-2021. I give all my cows calcium when they calf no matter their age to prevent milk fever. With milk fever cows go off feed & milk production until they are treated. If treated early they do just fine. She is back eating grain & her milk production is increasing every day. I use "dry cow" when I dry my cows up to help with mastitis prevention. This cow had 4 good quarters when I dried her up so I think she was injured by another cow to cause a front quarter to come in with no milk. She only has 3 good quarters. She gives 5-6+ quarts twice a day with her calf nursing all the time.

She had a nice big Jersey bull calf that is from an A2 purebred Jersey bull. The cow or the calf may or may not have the A2 gene, I've never tested my cows for the A2 gene.
