Business Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm | Monday - Friday
Location: Hays, Kansas

Pay rate: $16 in the first 3 months. $16.50 per hour after the first 3 months.

Position Summary

Cloud Storage Corporation, a reseller of server components and computer hardware, is in need of an Shipping Specialist. If you are highly motivated, love technology and eager to learn, we look forward to hearing from you!

Technical background is NOT required. We will provide training for product knowledge and job related softwares. 

The Shipping Specialist processes shipments for sales orders and ensures the correct items are shipped out to customers.  This position also assists other inventory duties as assigned. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Review customer requests and process shipment for sales orders

• Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates

• Create shipping labels and scan serial numbers.

• Responsible for execution and communication of shipping changes to orders and contacting carriers to resolve issues

• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and report/adjust errors

• Maintain and organize shipping supplies

• Maintain shipment and transaction data in the company inventory system

• Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment and inventory

• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma minimum. Bachelor degree prefered. 

• Passion for IT equipment 

• Time management skills and dependability

• High attention to details, quick learner, efficient worker

• Proficiency with Windows Operating System, Word, Excel, and data entry

• Able to follow company policies and procedures

• Open to cultural diversity and international business environment 

• Be able to lift 30 pounds or greater. Be able to recognize different colors of product labels. Be able to see tiny components on the electronic motherboard
