This A1278 macbook pro 13" has been refurbished. It has been fully cleaned internally and externally, the memory has been upgraded, the hard drive has been replaced, and the thermal paste has been replaced with Arctic mx2. The laptop has been fully stress tested and is stable.

This macbook has High Sierra installed which still has full support from Apple. These have a sandy bridge i5 so they still perform well when browsing the web and playing video. This has a CD/DVD drive, full size usb ports, a SD card reader, Ethernet port, a headphone jack, a firewire port, and a Thunderbolt/miniDP port. These have much better expandability then new macbooks.

The hard drive is used but with low hours and 0 bad sectors. The cd drive fuctions. The only thing wrong with this laptop is the keyboard backlight non fuctional. Everything else functions as it should. There is a small dent on the lid and a dent on the corner that do not affect functionality.

This battery has been replaced and has been used very little with only 8 charge cycles. 

This laptop can be upgraded to a 250 Gb ssd for an additional $30.

This comes with a Magsafe 1 charger.
