This is a fully functioning Mid 2010 macbook pro that has been upgraded with 8gb of memory. This macbook has had the heatsink and fans cleaned and new arctic mx2 thermal paste applied to the cpu and gpu. The outside has also been cleaned. The gpu and cpu have been stress tested for 15 minutes without any issues. I have replaced the capacitor in this model that notoriously fails with a larger one that will last a lot longer. I did this as a preventative measure.

The lid has a small dent in it, there is a small dent by the battery meter and the bottom has some scratches. The keyboard and trackpad are in good shape and function as they should. There are two case screws that are not the original ones.

These macbooks still work great for web browsing and watching videos. They still perform very well browsing the web. They are one of the last models with an optical drive. This has a fresh copy of High Sierra installed (2017). Chrome has also been installed.

The battery is aftermarket and has 79 charge cycles, it ran for just over two hours playing video on a charge. This is a bit less then a stock new battery but is still acceptable. A new one can be purchased for around $30 and is easily replaceable.

I can upgrade this macbook to a faster 256 GB SSD for an extra $40. 

This comes with a magsafe charger. I also have a laptop bag I can throw in for free with this macbook if interested.
