I have original M196 - 5.56MM tracer rounds.  These are headstamped WCC(Western Cartridge Company 1968)  all the boxes I have are from Lot 6168 which is from a very early run.  If you do some research these are the tracers that light right out of the barell and not half way to the target.  Good luck finding these anywhere with the ammo shortages going on.  I would also bet that manufactures will probably not be producing tracer rounds for quite some time if at all ever again.  You have to be careful with these rounds In the ARMY we used to catch the range on fire with these exact rounds.  These are $40 per box or $280 if you buy all 8 boxes I have.  SOLD
