This is a Val-6 infrared, radiant, kerosene/diesel heater, model KBE5S-V.  I bought this heater before last winter, and used it for about 2-3 months, and have only used it a handful of times since.  I added a thermostat to it, so it will turn off and on by itself, instead of constant on, or off, like it came from the factory.  This is a VERY nice heater, and I've had zero issues with it.  Brand new, I paid about $2100, for the heater and thermostat.  I used it in a 660 sq ft uninsulated garage, and even on single digit days with wind, it would go from 25 to 75 in a little over 20 minutes.
