Barton Community College is seeking a part-time driving assistant for the Commercial Driver’s License and School Bus Training courses. Candidates would be responsible for assisting the CDL Instructor with driver training functions for the CDL training program. Including but not limited to, performing safety inspections relating to potential truck/trailer or bus issues, instruct functional driving skills such as performing turns, curves and backing. Candidates must possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License without an air brake restriction and a passenger and school bus endorsement. A valid Kansas Department of Transportation physical card is also required. Individual(s) hired will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing as required by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
