I'm selling a 1992 Mitsubishi J53 Jeep. Mitsubishi had the rights to build Willy's Jeeps from 1953-1998 for the Japanese market. Part of the contract with Jeep, was they were not to export the jeeps to the US. A handful have made it here, and a smaller handful are legally titled. This is one of them. This is Mitsubishis version of the CJ-3b.

This little jeep has 55k kilometers, which is about 34k original miles. The drivetrain runs and drives excellent. Brakes/clutch are excellent.

It has a factory 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. This is Japan's most popular 4 cylinder diesel engine, and is bulletproof. Although these jeeps are nearly unheard of in the US, all the parts are readily available from many suppliers.

The body has a few small rust spots, but nothing too severe. No rust on the floors, or frame. Tires are in great shape.

Every CJ owner wants a jeep with a diesel... Well here ya go, it has factory dana 30/44 axles, and enough torque to turn big tires if you wanted to go that route.
