I have for sale a 1998 Chevy Silverado Z-71 Excab truck. I bought this truck about 5 years ago or so. Been a great truck. It has never let me down. Engine runs great. A/C works. May have a slow leak in it. Seems like I have to add a touch every spring. Elec windows and locks w/ keyless. Hate to get rid of it as it has been a good truck but needing to upgrade.

I put new tires on it a couple years ago with less than 1500mi on them. New brakes all around, radiator, ingnition switch, plugs. I also put new exhaust from the manifolds back with true dual exhaust and new cats. Transmission shifts as it should. $4x4 works awesome as all of this model of Chevy's did.

The only few things I know are an issue, the body is a little rough. Not much in the way of rust, but the typical Chevy blue is peeling off. The previous owner also banged up the front fender on the driver side as well as the rear behind the drivers rear tire. The cruise tends to not work and I would blame the blinker/cruise switch for this as it seems to have an issue at times with the blinker and the wipers as well. Looked them up on ebay and new they run about $30bucks. This thing would be a great truck for a hunter, first time driver/student, or even just an every day truck for someone who likes to tinker.

Again, runs great!! Just needs some TLC on the body and a few other minor issues and it would be a great truck. I just dont have the time to put into it any more. Also, the shocks need replaced. I bought new ones and they are included. They just need installed.

I plan to do a fresh oil change here in the next few weeks unless someone buys it first. At that point they can put in the oil and filter of their choosing. I tend to do an oil change right away when buying a vehicle anyway, as im sure other people do too. The truck currently has 204k miles on it.
