This is a 19 foot, closed bow, competition ski boat from the '80s. I've owned it for two years and use it every season. The motor is a PCM 350 (marine Chevy 350, ~275HP). I've updated, fixed, and modernized a lot of little things to get the boat as she sits today. I've ridden this boat six times this season, it is ready to go.
Built to be a ski boat, she throws almost no wake at ski speeds, and it is a dream to ski or slalom behind. Turns tight, pulls HARD. Add some ballast and it throws a very crisp wake board wake. All around a very reliable, low maintenance, simple, fun ski/wake boat. Always a conversation starter at the lake.
Last year I replaced the starter, prop shaft, strut bearing, both mufflers, bilge pump, prop shaft seal, rudder seal, trailer lights (LED now), both trailer tires, navigation and anchor lights. This year I replaced the battery, interior carpet, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, coil, trailer bunks, trailer running boards, trailer bearings with bearing buddies.
As for maintenance. I change the oil every spring, and then again mid-season. I change the transmission fluid and impeller every spring. The boat is stored indoors, except during the summer months when I normally use it weekly. It is always professionally winterized.
The only reason I am selling is because I got another boat, and I don't need two!
