Description

HEAVY, CAST IRON, WITH RED ENAMEL COATING, WOOD BURNING STOVE.  I THINK THESE STOVES WERE BUILT TO USE EITHER WOOD OR COAL, BUT DO NOT KNOW THAT FOR SURE. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL STOVE.  THE INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE METAL PLATE ON THE FRONT:

     ESTATE HEATROLA
   "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF."
             No 4D
      Patents Pending
 THE ESTATE STOVE CO.
     HAMILTON, OHIO

THE ESTATE STOVE CO. OPERATED IN HAMILTON, OH. BETWEEN 1905 & 1962.  I UNDERSTAND THE MODEL 4C WAS BUILT AROUND 1927, SO THIS 4D WAS PROBABLY BUILT AFTER THAT.
