Description

This adorable little stainless steel cream pitcher was made by Edward Don & Company. It measures about 4" tall, including the sweet little knob on top of the lid. The bottom of the pitcher is marked with the Edward Don logo and the following:

MG
18-8
Stainless Steel
Japan

The handle is attached to the pitcher with a bracket at the top and bottom. The lid is hinged with a little tap that makes it easy to hold the lid back while pouring. The spout is generously curved outward from the pitcher as you can see in the photos. There are no dents in the pitcher; it does have the normal surface scratches you associate with vintage metal. It also looks like someone maybe tried to wax it at one time, and failed to get all of the wax residue from under the brackets that attach the handle to the pitcher. This can probably be removed with a small brush to get under the bracket, but I'll leave that to the lucky winner. I'm not familiar with the gauges of stainless steel, but this little pitcher is heavy duty. If you're a coffee aficionado, you're going to love using this vintage pitcher when you serve your coffee.
