Description

For sale I have this old Kohler power plant.  The tag shows it to be a model # 1A22 U, 115 volts, 1.5KV, 60 cycles, single phase.  The serial number indicates it to be a 1948 model. Over 30 years ago I removed it from inside an old stone wash house on a farm near Nekoma, KS and rescued it from going on a load of scrap iron.  Ever since then it's been sitting back in a corner of my garage.  It appears to have original paint in good shape and has been kept sheltered.  The engine is loose but I've never tried to get it running.  It was set up to run on either gasoline or propane and there's a muffler and pipe that go with it. It was made to be used in a standby mode, where if a 115 volt load was turned on it would start up and run automatically, or could be run independently.  I will include a printed copy of an operator/parts manual that I downloaded online.  I have a rusty parts generator in the pasture that I will also include with it. It is a DC version made in 1926.  It is pretty rough but might have some good parts if needed for the better one. It will be selling Saturday, April 29th, 2017, at the Carr Auction consignment sale in Larned.  Thanks for looking!
